Minouk Lim (b. 1968) has been creating works that traverse different media, deepening the scope of questions rooted in language, historic losses, and ruptures. Her sculptures, videos, performances, and installation pay strong attention to the marginalization ensued by the process of rapid modernization and the consequent displacement of the community. Lim further seeks to find ways to examine objects embedded in imaginative modes of creating records.
