Art Basel has revealed the exhibitor list for its 2018 edition in Switzerland, which runs from June 14 to 17. Some 293 galleries are set to exhibit at this year’s fair, with 229 of them participating in the main “Galleries” sector.
There are a few notable additions to the “Galleries” sector, including New York’s 47 Canal, Berlin’s KOW, and Bogotá’s Casas Riegner. Those spaces previously showed in the fair’s “Feature” or “Statements” sectors, which are for curated presentations and emerging galleries, respectively.
Among the 17 new exhibitors at the fair are New York’s Essex Street, Los Angeles and Paris’s Freedman Fitzpatrick, Dusseldorf’s Galerie Max Mayer, London’s Carlos/Ishikawa, Cologne’s Jan Kaps, and Vienna’s Croy Nielsen.
