Tina Kim Gallery is thrilled to present Dispatches from Korea, an exclusive new digital video, web, and email series documenting exhibitions and artist studios visits with Tina Kim in and around Seoul during the summer of 2020.

Featuring interviews with artists Ha Chong-Hyun, Gimhongsok, Minouk Lim, Park Seo-Bo, Kim Yong-Ik, Kibong Rhee, Suki Seokyeong Kang, Chung Seoyoung, and Siren Eun Young Jung, as well as a video walk-through of the major retrospective of Lee Seung Jio at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Dispatches from Korea offers an inside look into the practice and everyday lives of contemporary Korean artists during this time of global crisis and contemplation.

We hope these visual stories will offer a unique and deeply personal look at the gallery’s artists, as they persevere and continue to create during a pandemic. Despite our separation by both distance and circumstance, it is our hope that art can make us feel as connected as ever.
